Finally you can afford to have a fabulous smile with removable
Star Smile Teeth Aligners
Half the cost of conventional orthodontics because you don't need to see the Orthodontist
You can have your teeth straightened affordably with Aligners or you can have braces.
Dr. Starkey suggests using the teeth aligners because they are half the cost of regular orthodontics and half the cost of Invisilign(R) Aligner.
You don't have to go to an orthodontist's factory nor hang out with a room full little kids. Come to a an adults only Dental Spa. Calm and quiet. You don't even have to have impressions. The Star Straightening Staff uses a wand to digitize your teeth. And you will forever have a computer stored 3 D image of your before and after work.

There is no need to see an expensive orthodontist that treats you like an impersonal commodity on an assembly line.
The data is sent to a special ortho lab make which will make your removable aligners and the staff will assist you with your progress.
We do some teeth straightening in our practice with braces. Dr. Starkey will straighten teeth where the problem is not complex and where it would be more of an inconvenience for orthodontists who generally prefer to focus on complex cases; the simple teeth straightening they tend to prefer trained general dentists manage.
Dr. Starkey uses what are called "self ligating brackets" because they have reduced friction against the braces wire so they can move teeth faster than ceramic (tooth colored) brackets. However ceramic is available.
In cases of crowding of lower anteriors which seems to be an almost ubiquitous problem Dr. Starkey will do slight interproximal stripping of the sides of the incisors-no more than .25 mm per side and the tongue and lip will help re align the front lower teeth.
It is an inexpensive way to solve a crowding problem NOT a perfect way.
On the other hand there is not the problem of relapse. In orthodontic cases half of them relapse to some extent. That is because the teeth are not worn down interproximally due to our softer diets. You will never see crowding on the lower front teeth of cavemen.
