What are the alternatives to dental implants in our office and their advantages and disadvantages, risks, and benefits?
- You do have the option to do nothing at all. the advantages are no going through any surgery and saving money on your mouth as well as not having to spend stressful time in the dental chair and having to have multiple visits. The disadvantage or risks is dependent upon whether there are infected teeth presently in your mouth that could make your sick or spread disease to adjacent teeth. Also infected teeth will cause bone to break down and later whe removed the result is inadequate bone for dental implants.
